INTERNATIONAL. The Moodie Davitt Report is seeking an International Account Manager to join our dynamic, highly successful sales team.
The chosen candidate will play a key role in driving media and events sales across our market-leading portfolio. They will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing clients (travel retail and F&B), identifying new business opportunities, and representing our brand at trade shows, exhibitions and events around the world.
This is primarily a remote position, offering flexibility in location, but the candidate must be willing to travel internationally, and foreign languages are a plus.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify leads and new commercial opportunities to expand our business.
- Upsell and cross-sell our range of media solutions to existing and potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Stay informed about the publishing industry, media environment, and travel retail sector.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from opportunity identification to deal closure.
- Collaborate with editorial, finance, production, and creative teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.
- Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate client information.
- Attend major industry events to network and promote the brand.
Experience and skills required:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role or within the travel retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of digital and social media platforms (both international and Chinese) and their role in media strategies.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
- Professional presentation, communication skills, and work ethic.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- A team player who is self-motivated and results-driven.
- Confident and enthusiastic in both phone and face-to-face interactions.
