AUSTRALIA. The Nuance Group has opened an Apple Shop at Sydney Airport’s newly refurbished International Terminal (T1). The outlet is part of the first phase of a major expansion of Nuance’s SYD Airport Tax & Duty Free operation. When work on the expansion is complete next February, Nuance said it would operate the largest duty free retail space in the southern hemisphere.
The new Apple Shop showcases Apple’s iconic product range of Mac computers, software, the latest iPods and the new MacBook. Travellers will have an opportunity to test-drive Apple products for themselves, including the MacBook, the new iPod nano with built-in video camera and the iPod touch with access to more than 85,000 applications offered on the brand’s revolutionary App Store.
