US travel retailer The Paradies Shops has been included on the National Top Workplace 2012 list, recognising good employers across the country. Employees from more than 4,000 companies – 805 of them with more than 1,000 staff – were surveyed to compile the list of 319 Top Workplaces.
The award recognises “˜organisational health’ and employee satisfaction. It aggregates results from 30 regional Top Workplace lists published in regional publications. The Paradies Shops, which employs 3,250 staff in total, was recognised by the Dallas Morning News for its operation at Dallas Fort Worth airport, where it employs 190 staff across 26 outlets.
President and CEO Gregg Paradies said: “We take tremendous pride in the company’s family culture and mission statement to exceed the expectations of the travelling public and the airports we serve.
