SOUTH KOREA. The Shilla Duty Free is celebrating the successful recent opening of its revamped beauty shop at Incheon International Airport’s airside Concourse zone.
The retailer described the space, unveiled on 7 January, as the area’s only ‘Total Cosmetics Solution Store’.
Notably, after some nine years, Chanel cosmetics has made a comeback in the Concourse, adding vibrancy to the shopping experience, The Shilla Duty Free said.
Chanel is part of an impressive array of 61 brands, including internationally renowned cosmetics names such as Dior, Estée Lauder, SK-II, Lancôme and Sulwhasoo.
Other popular brands include Jo Malone, La Mer, Tom Ford, Givenchy, Clarins and Guerlain. Additionally, niche perfume brands such as Le Labo, Penhaligon’s and Atkinsons are available for the first time in the Concourse.
Post-COVID-19, the Concourse store is evolving into a destination appealing to global customers as travel gradually resumes and more flights are added, The Shilla Duty Free said.
Celebrating the opening, The Shilla Duty Free is hosting an array of promotions including up to -50% off on select items. Customers purchasing two cosmetics products receive a -15% discount, and those buying three enjoy a -20% rebate with an additional -5% off for membership customers.
These promotions are subject to each brand’s maximum discount rate, and some brands may be excluded. Complimentary gifts for purchases from specific brands feature among other promotional activity.
“As the only duty free operator simultaneously managing cosmetics and perfume stores in Asia’s three major hub airports – Incheon International Airport, Singapore Changi Airport and Hong Kong International Airport – The Shilla Duty Free continues to showcase its competitive edge in the cosmetics and perfume sector,” the retailer said. ✈
