The Shilla Duty Free enhances Incheon Airport retail offer with beauty & liquor store openings

SOUTH KOREA. The Shilla Duty Free has unveiled a duo of stores at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2, dedicated to cosmetics & perfumes and wines & spirits, respectively.

The openings form part of the travel retailer’s ten-year duty-free concession programme at the airport, marking the continuation of a phased roll-out across categories including cosmetics, perfumes, liquor, tobacco, fashion and accessories which began last year.

The cosmetics & perfume store houses a wide range of in-demand beauty brands and standout niche selections

The 549sq m cosmetics & perfume store located in T2’s east side showcases an extensive selection of beauty products from 77 brands, including 13 exclusive to the location.

The store includes the Trendy Perfumes and Makeup Brand zones, offering customers access to the latest and most popular names.

It highlights 16 leading niche perfume brands, including Jo Malone London, Diptyque, Byredo and Le Labo.

To celebrate the store opening, fragrance brands Creed and Acqua di Parma are offering travellers exclusive shopping benefits and free gifts.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian fragrances are exclusive within Korean airport retail while L’Artisan Parfumeur and Chloe Atelier des Fleurs are not available domestically. British fragrance brand Penhaligon’s is another drawcard.

In addition, French niche perfume brands Les Eaux Primordiales and Perroy Parfum are making their Korean travel retail debuts.

The Makeup Brand Zone showcases exclusive selections from renowned global beauty names, including Yves Saint Laurent, MAC, Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani and Gucci, along with trendy labels such as NARS and Valentino.

Upscale and diverse liquor offer

The 436sq m liquor and tobacco store in T2’s west wing presents 200 brands across the wines & spirits and tobacco and food categories, including rare and premium whiskies

The store houses Incheon’s largest liquor selection, highlighted by exclusive access to limited-edition releases such as Dom Pérignon Vintage Champagne, Fettercairn 200th Anniversary Set and The Dalmore DCC 1971.

In addition, perennial Korean favourites including Ballantine’s and Royal Salute are on offer.

As reported, The Shilla Duty Free also opened a flagship liquor boutique store at T2 in July.

The flagship showcases 11 brands, including Glenmorangie and Hennessy from Moët Hennessy and The Balvenie from William Grant & Sons

The 316sq m shop is the airport’s sole specialised liquor flagship, showcasing exclusive products such as The Balvenie Hungarian Cask 11 Year Old and 50 Year Old.

The store is offering up to -30% discounts on popular products plus complimentary whisky glasses, travel trunks and backpacks with qualifying purchases. A lucky draw is also open to all passengers departing from Terminal 2, featuring prizes including discount coupons and S Rewards, which can be used as cash. ✈
