INTERNATIONAL. The Moodie Davitt Report, the leading provider of business intelligence for the travel retail and airport commercial revenues sector, is delighted to announce an expanded partnership for The Trinity Forum 2026, the premier global airport commercial revenues conference.
Joining long-standing co-organisers Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID) and ACI World is ACI EUROPE, marking a significant enhancement to the event’s scope and influence.
The Trinity Forum 2026 will take place on 5-6 February in Doha, hosted by Qatar Airways, Hamad International Airport and Qatar Duty Free.
Established in 2003 by The Moodie Report (now The Moodie Davitt Report), The Trinity Forum has long been the pinnacle event for airport executives, retailers, and brand experts to collaborate on advancing non-aeronautical revenues and elevating the traveller experience.
The addition of ACI EUROPE, representing over 600 airports across 55 countries, brings unparalleled expertise and a broader perspective to the event, reinforcing its position as the world’s leading platform for airport commercial innovation.
Enhancing The Trinity Forum
The inclusion of ACI EUROPE in the partnership strengthens The Trinity Forum by:
- Broadening global insights: ACI EUROPE’s deep knowledge of the European airport market, a key hub for travel retail innovation, will enrich discussions with diverse perspectives on consumer trends, sustainability and digital transformation.
- Driving collaborative innovation: The partnership unites ACI World, ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East and ACI EUROPE, fostering collaboration across major aviation regions to address shared challenges and opportunities in non-aeronautical revenue strategies.
- Elevating industry dialogue: ACI EUROPE’s participation will enhance the event’s agenda with cutting-edge case studies and thought leadership from European airports, renowned for their pioneering approaches to retail, dining and passenger experience.
- Strengthening networking opportunities: The expanded partnership will attract a wider range of delegates, creating a more dynamic platform for networking and knowledge-sharing among global industry leaders.
The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said, “This is a hugely exciting and important advance for The Trinity Forum, creating a powerful collaboration between four prestigious partners, including ACI EUROPE whose membership embraces many of the world’s most forward-thinking airports.
“The enhanced partnership will not only add a significant geographic dimension but also strongly enhance the event’s influence in shaping the airport commercial revenues agenda.
“Additionally, at a time when all airport commercial revenue stakeholders – airports, operators and brands – are under considerable cost pressure, we believe the effective integration of the renowned ACI EUROPE Commercial and Retail Conference into The Trinity Forum will be widely welcomed by the industry.”
ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East Director General Stefano Baronci commented, “Travel retail has emerged as one of the key pillars for airports’ financial stability. The commercial offerings are critical to create a smooth and memorable travel experience for both passengers and visitors.
“Given that passenger traffic is expected to grow exponentially in the coming years, it is not only important to understand passenger behaviours but also to innovate, diversify business, and redefine the processes.
“We are therefore thrilled to announce that The Trinity Forum 2026 is set to embark on a next chapter, with a broader geographic focus. Together with our co-organisers and hosts we hope to provide an enriching experience, with greater strategic insights into the world of airport commercial business. We look forward to welcoming you in Doha.”
ACI EUROPE Director General Olivier Jankovec added, “We are delighted to join forces with The Trinity Forum organisers for the first time. By bringing the ACI EUROPE commercial and retail community into this prestigious collaboration – including Europe’s leading retail hubs and standout World Business Partners – we add fresh perspectives and proven expertise to an already powerful alliance with The Moodie Davitt Report, ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East and ACI World.
“This new partnership marks an exciting evolution for The Trinity Forum, strengthening its global impact and relevance with key input notably from ACI EUROPE’s Commercial Forum. I am very much looking forward to working closely with our partners to open a new chapter in The Trinity Forum’s success story.”
ACI World Director General Justin Erbacci said, “The Trinity Forum, the world’s most influential airport commercial revenues and travel retail gathering, has long served as a global platform for airports, retailers and brands to shape the evolution of non-aeronautical strategy.
“With Doha – a world-class hub for excellence in passenger experience and retail – hosting the 2026 edition, this Forum gains an exceptional stage.
“Hosts Qatar Airways, Hamad International Airport and Qatar Duty Free continue to raise the bar, and we are proud to collaborate with The Moodie Davitt Report, ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East and ACI EUROPE to advance bold, sustainable non-aeronautical revenue strategies that are essential for airports’ profitability, financial resilience and an exceptional passenger journey.”
The 2026 event will feature a robust programme addressing critical topics such as evolving passenger behaviours, digital transformation in retail and sustainable revenue strategies. Preliminary findings from ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East’s Travel Retail Study will also be showcased, offering actionable insights for the industry.
