The “ultimate souvenir”: Camus introduces its Destination Collection

The House of Camus has released a new range of Cognac focused on the gifting and souvenir market.

Showcasing global landmark sites, Destination Collection includes Paris, which launched at the Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet delicatessen, Hong Kong and Singapore. Camus said Destination Cognacs are sold only in the vicinity of the city they represent and more releases are expected in the near future.

Destination Paris features illustrations of key Parisian landmarks by graphic designer Matthieu Forichon. Put together, the four sides of the packaging illustrate a complete Parisian scene.

Consumers can scan the QR code on the box to learn more about the product and more about Paris.

“Destination Collection is the ultimate souvenir in the liquor section as it combines the main reasons why people buy spirits while travelling: to offer an exclusive collectible gift, a souvenir, or simply to indulge themselves,” the House of Camus stated.

According to the brand, the concept of Cognac as a souvenir is not a recent one. 20 years ago the House of Camus was selling its Cognac on the duty free market in Limoges porcelain, one model per country.

“Today’s Destination Collection is a contemporary version of these exclusive souvenirs, but one which will revitalise a classic gift and appeal to a wider audience,” The House of Camus added.

The 1-litre Camus VSOP Destination has a recommended domestic price-point of €69, including tax .
