GERMANY. German fashion jeweller Thomas Sabo has introduced a new charm collection under the label Thomas Sabo Charm Club, offering an extensive collection of charms with corresponding bracelets, brooches and chains.

The Charm Club collection exists as an independent product in addition to the main collection. The company said it provides the travel retail channel with an alternative “lucrative source of revenue”, making the brand Thomas Sabo highly accessible to new customers at entry level.

The company said that it intends not simply to draw upon the popularity of the charm cult itself, but to update the collection and appeal in the long run.

The new collection consists of an extensive and varied assortment of sterling silver charms for bracelets, brooches and chains. The selection offers women, men and children a wide range of motifs that are described as attractive, elegant, brazen and witty.

“Each accessory becomes a statement, an expression of one’s personal attitude toward life,” said Thomas Sabo. “Taken together, they tell the personal life stories of those whom they adorn.

“The success of charms is derived essentially from the perennial longing of human beings for love, good luck and reassurance – all of which makes them ideally suited to mankind’s passion for collecting valuables year after year,” it added.

To complement the new collection, the company has devised a concept for shop window and product display.
