The German lifestyle accessories company also unveiled new display counters, where the silver charms are artfully arranged on glossy black stairs.

There are 12 real diamond charms in the initial winter collection. A certificate of authenticity is offered with each purchase of the charms.

Top-selling charms include the Eiffel Tower – a very popular piece, Juliane Blackburn of the Inflight Department told The Moodie Report in Cannes. Other best-sellers include shoes, stars, a horseshoe, a red heart and keys.

Thomas Sabo now produces more than 500 charms.

The company also displayed its 2010 watch collection at the Cannes fair.

The timepiece range, aimed at “urban adventurers”, is based on the brand’s Sterling Silver Collection, and is designed to complement the jewellery pieces.
