US. Stellar Partners and MarketPlace Development have jointly launched several retail openings at Philadelphia International Airport.

Three women’s fashion retailers have been combined in a single location in what Stellar describes as a “first-of-its-kind retail experience”. Chico’s, White House Black Market and Soma, all owned by Stellar partner Chico’s FAS, are together in a new store in Philadelphia International’s BC Connector.

The other openings include a store from Marika, which is known for casual, yoga-inspired clothing for men and women. Stellar said it is combining with the activewear brand to expand locations in airports as part of an exclusive licensing agreement to serve the growing athleisure market.

Finally, own-brand concept Stellar Books has unveiled a new store, offering an assortment of greetings cards, children’s activity sets, local travel guides, and a range of books including the latest best-sellers.
Stellar Partners President and CEO Padraig Drennan said: “These prominent stores will have a great impact on the shopping experience in the airport for years to come. It is very exciting to debut Chico’s first multi-concept location. Chico’s is a specialty retail leader in women’s fashion; together we are enhancing the customer experience at Philadelphia International Airport by showcasing the quality clothing and accessories of three popular and well-known brands.”

Stellar Partners, which has been running shops at Philadelphia International since 2009, now operates more than 100 stores across major US airports.
