Ferrero Travel Market will unveil new Tic Tac souvenir packs featuring a stars and stripes design at the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas next month (Stand number: 838).
The Americas, where Tic Tac is said to be rated among the top mints on the domestic market, will be one of the first focus areas to receive the tailor-made T100 destination packs.
The travel retail exclusive Tic Tac collection, unveiled in October 2012, comprises a flip-top Tic Tac 234g filled with mini-boxes in four flavours; the Tic Tac Bottle 98g shaped like an ultra-large Tic Tac containing 200 Tic Tacs in orange or freshmint; the Liberty 25g tins of sugar-free mouth fresheners in coolmint and wildberries mint; and the Tic Tac T100 49g travel pack in orange or freshmint with a range of customised sleeves.
According to Ferrero, the collection has already achieved positive results in airports in key regions including Milan, Frankfurt, Qatar and Singapore.
“The distinctive and innovative Tic Tac offer is in line with the traveller’s needs. For instance, the cute Tic Tac mini-boxes presented in a new sharing pack and the iconic Tic Tac 200-pill bottle are ideal impulse purchases,” said Ferrero Travel Market General Manager Francois Godin.
“The point-of-sale materials including the display stands shaped like Tic Tacs are very eye-catching and have given excellent visibility to our range in store thus creating additional value for retailers.”
The brand will focus on the development of tailor-made regional offers to exploit Tic Tac’s potential for gifting and in accordance with market trends.
“Tic Tac will become not just a mint but also a souvenir,” Godin concluded.
