British photographer Rankin brings his distinct aesthetic style to Toni & Guy this seasonToni & Guy has teamed up with British portrait and fashion photographer Rankin to shoot a Hair Meet Wardrobe campaign showcasing hair styling fashion trends for Autumn/Winter 2014.
The four hair-fashion looks, born from the brand’s philosophy of ‘dressing from the head down’, were crafted by Global Hair Ambassador Mark Hampton, with wardrobe by fashion stylist Anna Trevelyan from the brand’s Style Collective.
Since making his first mark on the fashion industry working for Dazed & Confused magazine in 1992, Rankin has become what Toni & Guy called “a true icon of modern photography”.
Rankin said: “Every image I shoot represents a concept from head-to-toe: the Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe ethos of ‘dressing from the head down’ is one that I can really identify with. Working with a group of artists who all share this attitude and who are leading next season’s hair-fashion trends, has resulted in four striking visuals for the AW14 season.”
Each shot embodies one of the four Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe styling collections and captures one of the key trends for the season as seen on the international catwalks, from the icy-cool Classic North Escape trend to the Parisian Glamour of La Bourgeoisie through to the organic Casual tones of Less & More and the Creative primal energy of Collapse.
