Tous has partnered with The Moodie Davitt Report in a branded makeover of our home page to celebrate the launch of its ‘Almost Perfect’ holiday campaign. It stars American actress and Tous global brand ambassador Emma Roberts.

The campaign – affectionately entitled ‘The Almost Perfect Gift’ – pokes fun at how difficult it is to wrap the Spanish jewellery brand’s signature round packaging.

Tous’s round box is the star of the video, which is the brand’s first musical-themed Christmas campaign.

‘The Almost Perfect Gift’ celebrates the joy of giving and features its own specially composed song and choreography.

The mini-film’s ‘hard to wrap, easy to love’ slogan emphasises that what matters in the holiday season is what’s inside the packaging.

The Christmas ad will be shown across televisions in Spain, Mexico, Portugal, and Russia and in cinemas in Poland, Ukraine and Czech Republic. It will also be rolled out on digital and social media worldwide.

The rollout is being given a digital boost as influencers all over the world participate in the #Tousunboxing challenge throughout December. The challenge – live on Instagram – invites influencers to try and wrap the ‘almost perfect gift’ from Tous. The challenge kicks off on Emma Roberts’ own Instagram account.

The Spanish jewellery brand is celebrating its centennial anniversary in 2020. In preparation for that milestone, it is launching a six-month long series of increasingly grand promotional campaigns and events, beginning in January and culminating on its anniversary date on 15 June.

As reported, all of Tous’s products are designed in-house with 50% of production in Spain. The company’s headquarters in Manresa, Catalonia, has production capacity for 3 million pieces a year; 30 new jewellery collections and 24 handbag collections are created annually.

Tous operates in 53 countries and has more than 700 stores. The company posted record sales of over €466 million (US$511 million) in 2018.
