Leading travel accessories company Travel Blue has released details of its “˜Connect and Charge’ products prior to their launch at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes later this month (Stand number: Red Village M24).
As reported, the new TECH by Travel Blue range comprises more than 130 products targeting the modern traveller. The range includes adaptors, UBS chargers, headphones, speakers and cables.
Travel Blue Head of Travel Retail Jonathan Smith said: “The requirements of travellers have changed enormously over the past few years. It wasn’t that long ago that travellers were carrying with them a mobile phone and a laptop.
“Now phones have turned into compact media centres in their own right – you can watch films, surf the net, send large documents and much more. This means heavy demand on batteries and popular electronic items such as the iPhone and iPad or other tables are known to run out of power quickly. The “˜Power Anywhere’ set has been designed to prevent travellers from being left ‘high and dry’,” he concluded.

The Power Anywhere set includes a USB Home Charger, Car Charger, Power Charger and connecting cable and retails in airports and inflight for approximately £49.90.
The Twist & Slide World Wide Travel Adaptor has, according to Travel Blue, taken two years of in-house development to perfect. The adaptor can be used in more than 150 countries and incorporates 2 USB slots x 2: one amp enabling travellers to connect their plug to the local socket and charge two additional appliances simultaneously.
Travel Blue said both sets, as part of the TECH range, have been designed to offer “every possible solution” to Connect and Charge travellers’ USB devices worldwide and stressed that all TECH items meet the highest quality and safety standards.
