INDIA. Travel Food Services (TFS) subsidiary Travel Retail Services has announced contract wins for over 40 concessions across six airports in India. These are: Goa, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Cochin and Mumbai.
The concessions at Goa, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar and Guwahati were won in a consortium bid with Future Lifestyle Fashion Limited, via a competitive tender process. The company said it planned to open these units in six months through a mix of franchised and owned brands.
TFS currently has over 280 outlets and operates in seven airports across India. It also has four airport lounges in Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Nagpur. With the new contract wins, TFS has expanded its presence to 19 cities.
