Travel Retail Innovations (TRI) is set to introduce the Sennheiser CX and Urbanite collections of mobile headphones and headsets to the travel retail trade at next week’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (stand number: Yellow Village B27 and C29).
According to TRI, the Sennheiser CX series offers lightweight, ultra-small designs that combine value with performance.
At the affordable end of the range is the Sennheiser CX 1.00, available in black or white and said to offer a “powerful sound experience with a deep and punchy bass”. The Sennheiser CX 2.00, also in monochrome, adds a remote control with microphone and “delivers the rich and vibrant bass-driven sound associated with the brand” in both Apple and Samsung Galaxy versions.
Available in black, white or red, the Sennheiser CX 3.00 is said to offer detailed sound reproduction and enhanced bass response in a small package, while the Sennheiser CX 5.00 in Apple or Galaxy formats delivers quality sound and bass response with remote control and microphone included.

The Sennheiser Urbanite collection focuses on travellers who favour on-ear or over-ear headphones and boasts “great sound, deep bass and urban style”. In-line remotes and integrated microphones ensure connection for calls and music control.
According to TRI the Urbanite’s styling is matched by its toughness: the products feature durable metal components and a collapsible design making them easy to store and carry on a journey.
The Urbanite collection includes on-ear mobile stereo headphone with remote control for Apple smartphones and tablets; the Urbanite Galaxy on-ear headphones with remote control for Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets; the XL over-ear headphones with remote control for Apple smartphones and tablets; and the XL Galaxy version for Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
The Sennheiser products will be among a selection of electronic and audio products, travel essentials and accessories on show by TRI during the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.
