Travel Retail Innovations (TRI) is presenting the new Sony MDR-ZX750BN headphones, now launching into airport stores, at the TFWA World Exhibition this October (Stand number: Yellow Village B27).
The new headphones, with wireless connectivity, precision noise cancelling, comfort and sound quality, will be showcased at the Cannes show alongside a selection of electronic and audio products, travel essentials and accessories.
According to TRI the hi-tech headphones, featuring built-in One-touch Near Field Communication (NFC) and Bluetooth connectivity, are free of wires and promise users they can travel in silence through superior audio performance and 98% ambient noise reduction.
The headphones can be aligned with compatible devices and a touch of the NFC logos activates or deactivates pairing. With built-in AAC and aptX codec support for both iPhone and Android phones, the wearer can benefit from maximised clarity on calls and CD-quality sound when streaming music wirelessly, TRI stated.
When a phone is paired with the headphones, pressure on the phone button on the earpiece accepts incoming calls; another press terminates the call and music playback resumes automatically once the call is completed.
“With the simple push of a button, internal circuitry automatically selects one of three different modes for optimal noise cancellation based on intelligent analysis of ambient noise in the immediate vicinity – aircraft, bus/train or office,” TRI explained.
The headphones feature comfortable ear pads with a swivel design to ensure the headphones stay in place and there is a built-in microphone for hands-free calling. A rechargeable battery provides up to 13 hours of wireless music playback or up to 10 hours of hands-free calling. A 1.5m detachable audio cable is supplied for conventional listening when the battery runs down and a USB charging cable is also supplied.
The travel retail price of the Sony MDR-ZX750BN headphones is €149.
