Trinity Forum to be hosted at Yas Viceroy Hotel and F1 complex

The stunning Yas Viceroy Hotel is one of Abu Dhabi’s great landmarks

ABU DHABI. The Trinity Forum 2013 will be held at the spectacular Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi Hotel and Yas Marina Formula One Circuit International Media Centre on 29-31 January, after host Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) secured the iconic venue, which is home to the annual Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix. As reported, Trinity 2013 (co-organised by The Moodie Report and ACI) is shaping up as one of the most compelling in the event’s history. (See below for registration and event details)

The event was originally to be held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in the city, but the shift to this new landmark venue – secured by ADAC in recent days – provides delegates with the unique opportunity to experience first-hand the Formula 1 complex.

The Yas Viceroy Hotel is located in the centre of the F1 facilities and sits directly above the race track; the International Media Centre is a conference complex accessible from the hotel across a short walkway, and is also within the F1 racing arena. The views from the event complex over the race track are stunning, and will be familiar to fans of Formula One racing around the world. Delegates that have booked into the Ritz-Carlton will automatically have their room bookings switched to the Yas Viceroy and will be contacted with confirmation soon.

All rooms carry amazing views over the Formula One race track

As an additional benefit to sponsors, lunches on both days will be held in the Paddock Club overlooking the F1 start and finish line.

Within the five-star Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi Hotel, with its attractive canopy of coloured LED lights, all rooms also have stunning views over the circuit. The hotel houses 499 rooms and suites, 12 innovative dining venues and lounges, and the sumptuous ESPA at Yas Viceroy.

Yas Island, the sports and leisure centre of the city, is home not only to the Yas Circuit, but also to the 18-hole championship Yas Links Golf Course, Yas Marina & Yacht Club and the world’s largest indoor theme park, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Yas Island is located just ten minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport, 25 minutes from the centre of Abu Dhabi and 50 minutes from Dubai.

ADAC said: “The YAS Island Formula 1 infrastructure has established itself as an iconic facility worldwide. It showcases the vision of the Abu Dhabi Government in establishing Abu Dhabi as a world class destination. This is a rare opportunity for visitors to experience the Formula One environment, and creates a point of difference from any previous Trinity venue.”

“Yet again ADAC has demonstrated their leadership in the airport industry by securing a tremendous venue for Trinity in 2013, said Angela Gittens, Director General of ACI World. “The Yas Viceroy Hotel and the Formula One complex are internationally recognised and all Trinity delegates can be assured of a fantastic experience.”

The Moodie Report Vice Chairman & Editorial Director Dermot Davitt said: “We are delighted that delegates will have the opportunity to visit this Abu Dhabi landmark, for what promises to be a memorable event. The high-quality conference will be complemented by an exciting social programme, details of which we will reveal in coming days.”

The 499 rooms and suites are of the highest quality

A joint venture between The Moodie Report and Airports Council International (ACI), the theme for 2013 is “˜Thought leadership in travel retail’. Already eight out of the world’s top ten travel retailers (and ten of the top 15) have already registered, alongside a fast-growing list of airports and brand companies. Registrations are now coming in fast, boosted by the extension of the “˜Early Bird’ registration to Friday, 14 December. Click here for Forum and hotel registration details).
