UK. U’Luvka Vodka, the premium luxury Polish grain vodka from The Brand Distillery, has secured key airport listings internationally through the Nuance Group Europe, as well as in Dubai Duty Free and the Gulf.

U’Luvka Vodka is available in travel retail as a stand-alone 70cl signature bottle (£32) or as a gift set (£45) along with a pair of U’Luvka “˜legless’ glasses and U’Luvka cocktail recipe book. The book contains 14 original cocktails created for U’Luvka by Nick Strangeway, one of the world’s leading mixologists.
Plans are under way to roll out the brand in more airport destinations, and The Brand Distillery has appointed Essential Communications to handle its travel retail PR as part of this ongoing strategy.
Launched in the UK in 2005, U’Luvka is served in bars and restaurants in 30 countries, including the US and Canada. It has won 10 international awards, including four Gold Medals.
“Statistically women make over 80% of the buying decisions in retail and yet the drinks industry is male-dominated in its thinking and presentation,” noted The Brand Distillery Managing Director and Founder Mark Holmes. “We created U’Luvka to address this imbalance between the sexes, and to create something of beauty that would appeal to both men and women, and which we would be proud to share with our friends and family. I knew we’d got it right when I started seeing U’Luvka bottles being lovingly re-used as vases and carafes in friends’ homes, and I’m gratified that the industry has recognised this in the awards we’ve been given.”
The U’Luvka bottle, shaped as a twisted glass teardrop, was designed to represent both male and female energies. The U’Luvka logo is said to be an ancient alchemical glyph containing the symbols for male, female, sun and moon. The alchemical history of the brand can be traced back to the Polish Royal Court of 1606, and these historical values underpin U’Luvka’s positioning as a “modern brand with ancient roots”.
U’Luvka Vodka is available domestically in three sizes: the 70cl Signature bottle, the 175cl Magnum bottle and the 10cl Miniature bottle.
