TURKEY. Unifree Duty Free and Gebr Heinemann have opened a Saint Laurent luxury boutique in the Bosphorus Zone at Istanbul Airport. It is the latest addition to the retailer’s duty free airside area, which it runs under a 25-year contract. The offer features women’s handbags, jewellery and accessories including belts and sunglasses.
Unifree Duty Free Chief Commercial Officer Ian Foster said: “We proudly welcome Saint Laurent to the Bosphorus Zone. As Saint Laurent continues to grow and affirm itself as a highly desirable brand, it also reminds us of the core of the Bosphorus Zone where global and local trends can be followed in a single place.”

Gebr. Heinemann Director Purchasing Fashion & Accessories Jan Richter said: “The Kering Group is a strategically important and very good partner of Gebr Heinemann – and we are proud of our outstanding partnership with them.
“Saint Laurent is an important building block in the fashion portfolio at Istanbul Airport. With Saint Laurent, we are now presenting our customers from all over the world with the entire range of accessories from the French design house. We are very much looking forward to working together at Istanbul Airport, where the Kering Group’s [presence] will be completed by the end of October with the opening of Gucci. For Heinemann it is the second Saint Laurent boutique already (the first opened at Frankfurt Airport earlier this year, Moscow will follow next year).”
The store features grey marble walls, metallic finishes and sleek lighting, said the retailer.
