MALAYSIA. Tory Burch has partnered with Valiram to open an accessories-only boutique at Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s Satellite Building.
The 865sq ft space extends the brand’s retail footprint in the Malaysian capital, where it also has boutiques at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, The Gardens Mall and Suria KLCC, all in partnership with Valiram.
The airport boutique carries an assortment of Tory Burch shoes, handbags and accessories, launching with select pieces from the Fall/Winter 2017 collection.
The store’s façade is distinguished by a green awning and orange lacquer doors, signature Tory Burch design details, and an oversized light box featuring the brand’s familiar lifestyle images.

In keeping with the aesthetic of all Tory Burch stores, the interior has a residential feel. Travertine basketweave floors, a white gesso chandelier and oak panel walls offer a neutral backdrop for a mix of furnishings in a vibrant palette, including a teal velvet banquette with embroidered pillows and blue-and-white garden stools.
Tory Burch launched in 2004 with a small boutique in Manhattan’s Nolita neighbourhood. Over the past decade, the company has grown into a global brand with over 200 boutiques around the world.
Valiram enjoys a strong presence across Southeast Asian and other international travel retail and domestic markets. It operates over 340 stores in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Philippines, Thailand, Russia, Macau, Vietnam and New Zealand. The group represents more than 200 brands across various categories, including fashion and accessories, timepieces and jewellery, perfume and cosmetics, and confectionery and dining concepts.
