Valrhona to celebrate chocolate craftmanship at TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes

Visitors to chocolate house Valrhona’s stand the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Riviera Village, RH16) will find themselves immersed in the brand’s century-old craftmanship.

The booth will sport a chic and contemporary design, with elements of aeroplane and suitcase icons evoking a sense of travel and driven by a focus on interactivity.

Attendees can enjoy The Valrhona Chocolate Barista Experience as chocolate beverages are crafted in a live demonstration by highly skilled baristas from renowned chocolate fèves, including Blends of Grands Crus and the single origins selection.

A wide array of options to suit every palate will be offered, including bold Mochaccinos and creamy Cappuccinos. Among the creations is an Autumn-inspired pumpkin-spice hot chocolate encapsulating the season’s flavours.

Valrhona’s Gift Atelier provides numerous gifting options, with collections tailored to commemorate world festivals and traditions. A variety of customisation options are available, including personalised greeting cards and ribbons.

The Destination collection is among the new products making their show debut. Accented with fine details such as gold foil, designs feature the cities of Lyon, Paris and Dubai with more locations to follow.

The brand will also unveil its Festive offering with a 2024 Advent Calendar – a 24-day tasting set inside a chocolate factory that opens to reveal the inside of the ‘chocolatier’.

Valrhona Selection Head of Global Retail & Travel Zeyneb Larabi commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to attend the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes this year. It’s a unique platform that goes beyond a simple showcase of products. It’s where we invite our partners to truly immerse themselves in our brand’s experiences.

“The show provides a dynamic environment for us to not only present our latest experiences – like the ‘Gift Atelier’ and chocolate bar concept – but also to engage in meaningful conversations that can shape future strategies. The event allows us to build deeper connections, collaborate on creative activations and align our offerings with our partners’ objectives. Cannes gives an invaluable opportunity for us to craft shared success stories and drive growth together.

“Since our presence in Singapore earlier this year, we’ve seen significant progress in expanding our customer-centred strategies. TFWA has helped us bring features like the Valrhona ‘Gift Atelier’ and customised ribbon printing machine to a wider audience.

“The positive feedback from Singapore has paved the way for expanding these offerings across Asia and EMEA. The event also allowed us to deepen our relationships with partners, helping us refine our approach to the evolving travel retail market and set the stage for future growth.”

Valrhona will be returning to the show in Cannes forming part of Gourmets & Co – a ‘trifecta of excellence’ alongside Villars and Weiss. ✈️
