
FRANCE. Moët Hennessy Travel Retail has partnered with Extime Duty Free, the joint venture between Lagardère Travel Retail and Groupe ADP, to celebrate Veuve Clicquot’s 250th anniversary with a colourful activation at Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG).
The animation, located in Terminal 2F, is running for a three-month period until the end of January.
After celebrating its milestone 250th anniversary in June, Veuve Clicquot is now showcasing its commitment to innovation, sustainability and celebration with the striking pop-up.
The furniture was upcycled from the June anniversary activation, extending its life cycle and underlining the brand’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint.

The Maison’s re-editioned ‘The Icons’ collection is the star of the activation. The range comprises four of Veuve Clicquot’s most well-known objects but reimagined with a sustainable twist. These include the Clicquot Ice Jacket, the Clicquot Ice Box, The Clicquot Arrow, and The Clicquot Fridge.
La Grande Dame 2015 x Paola Paronetto, a collaboration with Italian artist Paola Paronetto, is also highlighted in the animation. It represents Paronetto’s colourful interpretation of the Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Champagne and features six sustainable gift boxes inspired by Paronetto’s bright colour palette and aesthetic.

The Icons are showcased in warm shades of yellow and orange, creating a bright ‘solar retail’ concept, which is contrasted with the section dedicated to La Grande Dame which features cool shades of blue, green and lilac.
At the pop-up, travellers can customise two of The Icons — The Arrow and Ice Jacket — as well as La Grande Dame underlining the Maison’s commitment to delivering premium personalisation.
Travellers can personalise The Arrow and The Ice Jacket with special messages. They can also customise their La Grande Dame bottles with six different charms, each inspired by the Maison’s key design codes and the Champagne itself. The charms are engraved on-site and can be used as luggage tags.
A specially curated playlist immerses travellers into the world of Veuve Clicquot during their visit. They can also download the playlist from Spotify to bring memories of their Veuve Clicquot experience home with them. ✈
