SINGAPORE. Changi Airport Group has posted a video preview of its new Terminal 4 on its Fans of Changi Youtube channel.
The video offers a brief glimpse of the new terminal’s design, including what will be Changi’s first walkthrough duty free area. Also featured is an avenue of shop fronts modelled in the Peranakan style, similar to those traditionally set up by immigrant Chinese retailers across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

As reported, T4 will feature more than 15,000sq m of space dedicated to shopping and dining. The two-storey, 25m-high building will have a gross floor area of 195,000sq m, including a 300m-long Central Galleria which separates the public zone from the restricted zone.
With the ability to handle 16 million passenger movements a year, T4’s completion in 2017 will bring Changi Airport’s total annual passenger capacity to 82 million.
