Hermès adds to the dazzling roster of luxury brands in Hamad International Airport

QATAR. Today’s selection comes from Doha as luxury house Hermès becomes the latest big luxury name to open its doors in Hamad International Airport with Qatar Duty Free. The two-storey standalone boutique officially opened yesterday (27 October).

The striking boutique is located alongside the renowned Lamp Bear feature at the South Node Plaza. It offers the French luxury house’s fashion, accessories, shoes and fragrance lines.

The opening was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Qatar Duty Free Vice President Operations Thabet Musleh; Hamad International Airport Chief Operating Officer Engr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer; Hermès Managing Director Travel Ségolène Audras-Verdillon and other key executives from Hermès, Hamad International Airport and Qatar Duty Free. Full story to follow.

Qatar Duty Free has been building towards this year’s FIFA World Cup – which kicks off in Doha on 20 November – with a flurry of store and food & beverage openings in the existing South and Nodes and, very soon, with the opening of an exceptional commercial offer inside the much-anticipated expansion due to be inaugurated in early November.

The Moodie Davitt Report has been providing exclusive on location coverage of the openings throughout the year, which will culminate with the opening of the spectacular new facility.

As reported, The Moodie Davitt Report is delighted to announce ‘The New Wonders of the Travel Retail World’, a duo of landmark publications dedicated to two extraordinary projects that are set to redefine the travel retail world.
