INDIA. Ospree Duty Free has announced the soft launch of its exclusive wine library, titled Gran Cru Club, in the retailer’s main departures store at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai.
The concept, launched on 15 November, offers wine lovers a premium collection of more than 120 labels, with plans to expand further by year-end.
The launch marks a first for Ospree, tapping into the premium niche of curated wine collections in an initiative designed to enhance the travel retail experience.
The Gran Cru Club currently showcases an impressive selection of wines from Bordeaux, marking a first-of-its-kind exclusive offering by Ospree in India.
Highlights of the collection include exceptional Bordeaux vintages such as Château Pichon-Longueville Baron 2014, Château Lynch-Bages 2014 and Château Montrose 2018 plus Opus One 2018 from California.
Ospree plans to add more than 150 brands over coming months, bringing what it pledges will be the best premium wine collection in Indian travel retail.
The price range of the wines starts at IR20,000 (US$236), extending up to IR49,000 (US$578), catering to diverse tastes and preferences.
