Passengers can print out any one of 1,000 newspapers on the day of publication with this new service |
GERMANY. Travellers at Frankfurt Airport can avail of a new service at HDS Retail Deutschland’s Virgin Media Store: same-day editions of around 1,000 newspapers that can be printed out in the shop.
The new Print-on-Demand service, introduced this week, covers newspapers from around the world, and in 38 languages. Passengers can print out their desired newspaper copy at a printing terminal in the store, which lies in the Shopping Plaza in Terminal 2.
Frankfurt Airport operator Fraport said: “Because the newspapers available from the Print-on-Demand service are not offered as hard copies in Germany, the service considerably enhances the wide selection of newspapers available for international travellers at Frankfurt Airport.”
Fraport’s VIP Service also offers Print-On-Demand for its guests.
