INDIA. Voiceback Analytics Co-founder, CEO & Managing Director Manishi Sanwal is stepping down from the role on 1 June to be succeeded by Shubhra Misra. Sanwal, a particularly highly regarded figure in the travel retail community, is understood to be taking on a big new challenge (more to follow).
The Bangalore-based travel retail data analytics company, which specialises in market research, operations and technology, was established four years ago through market research entity AZ Research.
Sanwal has been instrumental in driving the company’s success as a big and advanced data analytics provider.
Under his leadership, Voiceback Analytics expanded its client portfolio, and has become a recognised Solutions Partner of Microsoft Azure for Data & AI, Solution Showcase partner of Power BI, and Showcase Partner of Startup India.
The company noted its commitment to “revolutionising the travel retail sector” with innovative data management solutions.
Described as a distinguished statistician and a leading voice in the data landscape, Misra brings decades of experience in consumer insight generation and market research to her new role.
She held several positions at renowned organisations including ORG-MARG (now AC Nielsen), Blackstone MR (now Synovate), and Tata Global Beverages.
Misra earned her MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow.
