Waldemar Behn sports football-themed Danzka vodka bottle

The Behn creative team superimposed the football theme upon Danzka vodka’s signature aluminium bottle for the limited edition

German spirits company Waldemar Behn has announced that its new, limited edition bottle design for Danzka vodka in celebration of upcoming football events received positive feedback at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.

The Danish vodka brand’s signature aluminium bottle features a superimposed football theme that can be sold to a multinational audience with translations available in English, Russian, Spanish, French and Portuguese on the back label.

Due to ship in January and retail in May, June and July 2014, the Danzka Vodka Football Festival Edition received only positive feedback in Cannes, said Waldemar Behn Global Sales Director Torben Vedel Andersen. “Even customers who had seen the early layout and declined to order at that time have now joined the Festival roster. We almost sold out by the end of the show.”

The limited edition bottle, which contains the same content as Danzka vodka original, will be available primarily in Latin America, ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil in June and July next year.

The Behn Company will also introduce a six-bottle pack of the Danzka Vodka Football Festival Edition as a gifting option.

Company President Rudiger Behn said: “We think it is fantastic to support our customers with a short term but much focused SKU for one of their best-selling vodkas.”

He added: “The Edition, which is the latest example of Waldemar Behn’s key philosophy to create a “˜World of Unique Brands’ will be a collector’s item. It shows our commitment to create something special for a key group of customers in the Latin American market from Danzka Vodka.”
