CANADA. Watt International, a wholly- owned subsidiary of the Envoy Communications Group, yesterday announced it has been selected by John Bull in the Bahamas to re-design two of its store formats.
John Bull has 12 stores throughout the Bahamas serving local residents and international travellers. “An integrated branding, communications and store design concept is one of the best ways for retailers to differentiate their offering,” said Watt International managing director Patrick Rodmell.
“We’re excited to work with John Bull, a company that clearly understands the important role design plays in support of its bottom line.”
John Bull and Watt plan to create new environments that cater to the unique tastes of its local and tourist customers. John Bull is the largest retailer of perfumes, cosmetics and jewellery in the Bahamas.
“Watt’s expertise in the creation and execution of retail environments that support business objectives and deliver results will help us continue to meet the needs of our customers and remain a leader in the marketplace,” said John Bull president Fred Hazlewood.
Note: Family-owned John Bull was founded in 1929 and describes itself as the most unique and complete store of its kind in the Caribbean region. It specialises in fine watches and jewellery, leather goods, perfumes and cosmetics, photographic equipment, humidor, writing instruments and other gifts at duty free prices. It has five locations in Nassau, one in Abaco and one (its newest) in Harbour Island (pictured right).
