UK. Wedgwood presented its new range of archive-inspired jewellery at the TFWA World Exhibition.

The spring/summer 2005 collection incorporates crystals, cameos and pearls in a range of pendants, earrings, charm bracelets and standard bracelets. The 30 pieces feature lighter, more translucent Jasper stoneware cameos and range in price from £80 to £250.

The company also showed additions to its restyled Blue collection of contemporary jewellery available from January 2005. New items in the Jasper and sterling silver collection include hoop earrings.

New colourways have been introduced to the Balmoral range (pink) and Chelsea floral-inspired collection (turquoise).

Wedgwood has simplified its men’s collection and added fresh colourways (black on cane and turquoise) to the cufflinks. Crystal-mounted bulldogs join the cufflink range, which is highly popular among Japanese men, said Mary Adams, Wedgwood’s Business Development Manager – Travel Retail.

Hearts and flowers remain popular among female Japanese purchasers of Wedgwood jewellery, said Adams.

At Cannes, Wedgwood also showed its duty-free exclusive collection of lifestyle accessories, including business card holder and compact mirror, as well as a range of collectible mugs and votive candles. Luggage tags formed part of the silver-plated giftware collection, which is exclusive to travel retail.

Wedgwood has a stand-alone store at London Heathrow T3, plus a presence at terminals 1, 2 and 4. UK listings are with World Duty Free, Harrods and Alpha Retail.
