AUSTRALIA. Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) is inviting organisations to register their interest to operate and manage the passenger terminal car parks at Sydney’s new 24-hour airport due to open in late 2026.
Executive Manager, Car Park and Ground Transport Pierre El Cheikh said the Registration of Interest (ROI) process is a crucial step forward in ensuring customers have the best possible car parking options to meet their needs, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
“From Metro and bus services to a brand-new motorway with plenty of car parking options, we are focused on providing WSI customers with choice and convenience when it comes to reaching their brand-new airport,” El Cheikh said.

WSI will initially have more than 6,000 car parking spaces available for customers.
The ROI follows hot on the heels of the 29 August release of a much-anticipated tender for a duty-free retail partner at WSI.
General Manager Retail Glyn Williams said the car parking ROI is one of several projects within WSI’s commercial offerings that are beginning to take shape.
“Western Sydney International Airport is really coming to life. Not only is construction more than 80 per cent complete, we are also making significant headway in other key areas,” Williams commented.

“We recently welcomed Singapore Airlines as our first international carrier, which is a huge milestone as it will unlock new opportunities for Western Sydney residents to visit family and friends overseas.
“This is in addition to a duty-free tender being released to create a spectacular new shopping destination inside the terminal, as well as the completion of an ROI process for car rentals which has attracted some of the world’s most well-known brands.”
The car parking management ROI will close on Wednesday 18 September.
Interested parties which can demonstrate satisfaction of minimum requirements in the ROI may be invited to participate in a tender process later this year.
