USA. Pernod Ricard Americas Travel Retail and Wild Turkey Bourbon celebrated the career of Southwest Airlines founder and Chairman Herb Kelleher at a Wild Turkey sponsored gala event in Dallas on 30 May 2008. Southwest Airlines President Colleen Barrett was also honoured.
On behalf of the Frontiers of Flight Museum, Wild Turkey’s renowned Master Distiller Jimmy Russell presented Kelleher with a special bottling of Wild Turkey Bourbon created in his honour, along with a monogrammed Wild Turkey Aviator Jacket.
Attendees to the gala event included VIPs, celebrities and politicians such as Governor Perry, Mayor Leppert and State Senator Hutchison. More than 1,200 guests who gathered for the evening’s festivities enjoyed the signature Wild Turkey cocktails and Jacob’s Creek with the dinner.
