Delivering shine-free skin: YSL’s new Matt Touch Foundation |
FRANCE. Yves Saint Laurent Parfums (YSL) has been inspired by its Matt Touch make-up base to create a new line, called Matt Touch Foundation. It will be available in travel retail from 3 March, priced at €28.99 for 30ml.
The product is said to be ideal for oily or combination skin. It delivers a matte complexion without dulling the skin’s appearance with heavy powder, according to YSL.
Its star active ingredient is extract of white water lily, a plant known for its ability to clean and oxygenate ponds and lakes. Within the foundation, it is claimed to help purify the skin and keep the complexion clear and fresh.
Other key components include invisible micro-sponges to absorb excess oil, YSL’s light-diffusing ampli light+ technology, and an SPF10 to protect against UV damage.
The end result is a smoother, more even, natural-looking matte finish, YSL maintains.
Matt Touch Foundation is presented in a flesh-coloured portable tube, topped with a gold cap. There are 12 shades in total.
