FRANCE. Yves Saint Laurent Beauté (YSL) has unveiled a new line of cleansers, which is being launched into travel retail this month. The result is a “closet of cleansers” for consumers to choose from, according to the company.
YSL’s classic Gommage Action Biologique (Natural Action Exfoliator) has been updated with a new star active ingredient, Moambe Jaune bark extract.
YSL scrubs up with new cleansers, and offers portable perfume with new Elle purse sprayThe cult cleanser is said to offer gentle, particle-free exfoliation, making it suitable for even sensitive skin.
The bark extract tightens pores and refines the skin’s texture for a radiantly pure complexion. It also features plant sugars and ultra-fine oils for a more sensual experience, YSL maintains.
The gel should be applied to the face with the fingertips; the combined effect of the face’s warmth and a massaging action transforms the gel into a non-greasy oil that lifts off dead cells, converts impurities into soluble matter, and dissolves them. On contact with water, the oil becomes a light emulsion which carries those impurities away.
Gommage Action Biologique is priced in travel retail at around €34.20 for 75ml.
Eau Démaquillante 3 en 1 (3 in 1 Cleansing Water), as its name suggests, is a triple-action product that removes make-up from the face, eyes and lips, cleanses and tones in a single step.
The inclusion of yuzu extract and Moambe Jaune bark extract aid its efficiency, according to YSL, helping it to rid the skin of all impurities with no feeling of tautness or dryness.
Eau Démaquillante 3 en 1 is priced in travel retail at around €26.66 for 200ml.
Démaquillant Yeux Haute Performance (Instant Eye Make-up Remover), priced at €22.36 for 100ml, is said to instantly eliminate all types of eye make-up, including waterproof, without any tautness or discomfort.
It comprises two “phases”: a blue, aqueous phase, enriched with chamomile extracts and pro-vitamin B5, which soothes, protects and fortifies; and a clear phase containing satiny oils, chosen for their dissolving power.
Démaquillant Yeux Haute Performance is suitable for consumers with sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
In other news, YSL has created a new presentation for its Elle feminine fragrance. It will be available in travel retail from 1 February, priced at around €55.76.
The new edition is an edp refillable purse spray and refills (3 x 15ml). The spray is reminiscent in design of a YSL lipstick tube, in gold and fuchsia livery. The presentation also contains a protective black suedine sheath.
