Retail expansion
Recent domestic market developments include the refurbishment of Zilli’s London flagship boutique, a new store in Montreal and the opening of a 750sq m showroom in Milan.
In travel retail, the company is rolling out a strategy adapted to each geographical area and is consolidating its foothold in each of the major markets, including Europe, the Eastern bloc, the US, Asia and the Middle East.
The brand is reinforcing its presence in the Middle East with openings in Doha and in Dubai, thanks to a third boutique.
Other airport stores include Vienna and Paris Charles de Gaulle, both opened in 2006.
The fast-growing CIS region outstripped sales in the Old World markets for the first time in 2006 and is now the leading market, accounting for 45% of turnover.
In 2008, Zilli will expand into new territories such as India and China.
