Zirh unleashes its inner warrior with new collection – 03/09/08

US. Zirh Skin Nutrition is introducing its new product line, the Warrior Collection of shower gels, worldwide this month, drawing inspiration from ancient leaders.

Named after an ancient Sumerian warrior itself, Zirh aims to appeal not only to the senses, but to the psychology of the Zirh male as well with this collection.

“The Warrior Collection was designed to further develop the Zirh brand dynamic,” said Zirh Holdings President Brian Robinson. “We are constantly looking to identify categories, products and concepts which resonate with the male consumer. In the case of the Warrior Collection, we wanted to create an innovative and original collection that evoked a blend of creativity and masculinity.”

Featuring ancient great leaders Julius Caesar, Charlemagne, Cyrus, Alexander the Great and Ulysses, the five-sku Warrior Collection is formulated with natural ingredients originating from the regions in which the warriors reigned


Zirh worked with designer Chad Lavigne on the overall aesthetic and packaging. The five-sku collection will feature five great leaders: Julius Caesar, Charlemagne, Cyrus, Alexander the Great and Ulysses. It was formulated with natural ingredients originating from the regions in which the warriors reigned:

Julius Caesar, Emperor of Rome: A refreshing citrus scent. Key ingredient: almond extract.

Charlemagne, the King of Franks: A cooling icy scent. Key ingredient: chestnut seed extract.

Cyrus, Persian ruler. A sensual, smooth scent. Key ingredient: carrot extract.

Alexander the Great, Ancient Greek king. A spicy wood scent. Key ingredient: olive extract.

Ulysses, Legendary Greek leader. A light, exotic scent. Key ingredient: sesame extract.

In addition to in-store sampling and public relations activity, the line will be promoted through the launch of an interactive Warrior micro-site. The site, www.zirhwarrior.com, contains an interactive survey asking consumers to answer the question “What Kind of Warrior Are You?”. Consumers will be able to delve into the history of the five warriors of the collection as well as order the Warrior Collection products.

The five gels are available in 12oz packaging and will retail at US$22.50 each. The Zirh Warrior Collection launches in over 1,000 US department and speciality stores including Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s and Dillard’s. Following the US launch this month, an international roll-out to an additional 7,500 doors is planned.
