SWITZERLAND. Zürich Airport launched a new-look version of Air, its lifestyle and shopping magazine for consumers, on Friday.
In the opening editorial, Head Marketing Retail & Services Patrick Graf said: “It has always been Zürich Airport’s speciality to generate public interest and appeal to people’s emotions with its diverse activities. This is a foundation upon which we are always looking to build. And we would like to stimulate even more emotions with the new-look issue of Air.
“During the winter break Air underwent a complete make-over and now its main focus has been shifted closer to home: namely Zürich Airport itself. Air keeps you updated about novelties at Switzerland’s gate to the world, especially with regard to aviation, lifestyle, and shopping.”
The publication is designed as a “˜one-stop guide’ to interviews, reports, and special offers from numerous shops and restaurants.
Graf noted: “We will inform you about newly opening stores and restaurants, about trends for the coming season and where you can find the corresponding products at the airport.”
Air will now be available landside as well as airside which has meant increasing the circulation numbers to 150,000. It is free of charge.
The airport company also relaunched its website (below) last month – www.zurich-airport.com to make it “more convenient, more informative, more efficient and more commercial”, Chief Commercial Officer Peter Eriksson told The Moodie Report.
“It has been re-designed to make it more convenient to find information needed, with on-line booking platforms for different offers, and of course with room for advertising,” he explained.
