
SWITZERLAND. Zurich Airport retail and dining turnover reached CHF508.7 million (US$563.8 million) in the first ten months of 2023, up by +21.7% year-on-year. Passenger traffic in the same period climbed by +30.7% year-on-year to 24.6 million.
The growth was led by airside sales, up +28.4%, with landside sales rising by +12.6%. However, airside spend per departing passenger reached CHF23.40 (US$25.94), down by -1.8% on the same period in 2022.

Commercial turnover in October reached CHF55.5 million (US$61.5 million), a rise of +11.3% year-on-year and +4.7% ahead of the same month in 2019. Passenger volumes reached 2.86 million, up by +18.6% year-on-year, standing at 99.9% of October 2019 levels.
Airside sales surged by +17.7% though airside spend per departing passenger softened by -0.8% to CHF23 (US$25.49). ✈
