Madinah Airport seeks bidders for 23 commercial opportunities

SAUDI ARABIA. Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport (Madinah  Airport) operator Tibah Airports is seeking concessionaires for 23 commercial opportunities in its terminal.

The opportunities include shops, restaurants, cafés and fast-food outlets, plus snack and pharmacy vending machines and currency exchange stores.

Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport, the fourth busiest in Saudi Arabia, is looking to bolster its commercial offer

The airport, particularly popular with religious tourists, served 9.4 million passengers in 2023. Development work will raise its capacity to 17 million by 2027.

Madinah Airport has scheduled international services to regional destinations such as Cairo, Dubai, Istanbul and Kuwait City. It also serves a variety of international flights during the Hajj and Umrah seasons.

The airport gained international status in 2007. It is operated and developed under a 25-year concession by a consortium made up of Türkiye’s TAV Airports, and Saudi Oger Limited and Al Rajhi Holding Group, both of Saudi Arabia.
