SWITZERLAND. Following the surprise termination of the Bonardo Travel Retail agency contract by Swiss Delice on 30 November 2002, Bonardo Travel Retail has announced its aims to continue within the confectionery sector and has launched a new portfolio of Swiss chocolate brands.
Once the news of the Delice termination broke, Bonardo said it was contacted by many other chocolate producers. “The break up with Swiss Delice came as a shock,” said CEO Alain Bonardo, “but despite this crisis situation and based on our knowledge and experience of the travel retail Market, it was clear that we should continue within the confectionery sector.
