Godiva goes for the gourmet

BELGIUM. Following a successful debut in Orlando, Godiva Chocolatier is to introduce its premium Gourmet Line of top quality coffee, tea, cocoa, biscuits, jams and chocolate spread (pictured) to travel retail buyers at the TFWA Asia Pacific show later this month (Stand F21).

The range, presented in elegant, luxurious and contemporary packaging, brings a new dimension to the Godiva offer, capitalising on its reputation for Belgian chocolates its recently-introduced biscuits.

The packaging unites the range using colour coding to differentiate between the product lines. The coffee, tea and cocoa are packaged in reusable metal boxes.

“The reception at the Duty Free Show of the Americas in March was excellent,” says international travel retail manager Gerry Murray. “Gourmet food is an area of the business which is growing steadily, and we are confident that Godiva’s existing worldwide quality reputation will reflect in sales of this new range to both existing and new customers.”
