Lancôme’s new anti-ageing treatment: High Résolution Collaser-48 Intensive Collagen Anti-Wrinkle Serum

FRANCE. Lancôme (L’Oréal Produits de Luxe International) has created a new anti-ageing treatment, called High Résolution Collaser-48 Intensive Collagen Anti-Wrinkle Serum. It is already available in the travel retail channel.

Inspired by anti-wrinkle laser techniques, the serum is claimed to visibly correct wrinkles from the inside by boosting the synthesis of collagen (by +69%) in 48 hours.

The result is skin that is smoother, more radiant, replumped and firmer, with visibly reduced wrinkles and faded brown spots, according to Lancôme.

The serum’s key ingredient is Collaser-48. This incorporates di- and tri-peptides of plant origin, able to induce in vitro the synthesis of collagens type I and VII. The serum formula also includes the anti-oxidants vitamin A and E, and caffeine.

High Résolution Collaser-48 Intensive Collagen Anti-Wrinkle Serum is priced domestically at €70.

Described as an ideal complement to the serum are the High Résolution Intensive Recovery Anti-Wrinkle Cream and the Anti-Wrinkle Cream for eyes. These are being launched this month in Europe and the US, and will roll out to Asia in August.

The creams have both been formulated to “re-mesh” the fibres in skin tissue and to repair wrinkles from the inside, according to Lancôme. This is possible thanks to a unique complex of hyaluronic acid, hydrolysed soy and patented di-peptides.

The recommended domestic price points are €70 for the face cream and €47 for the eye cream.
