SWITZERLAND. Swiss watchmaker Frédérique Constant has landed one of its most significant listings yet with a 27-piece collection going into Dubai Duty Free.
“Initial sales have proved that the brand continues to live up to its potential in travel retail,” said Managing Director Peter Stas.
Speaking of the importance of the channel allied with the brand’s success at higher price points, Stas added: “This [listing] was a key target for us, not only because of the importance of Dubai Duty Free, but also to prove that the brand can sustain sales at higher price points. Our experience has been that customers are trading up substantially, with automatics and diamond pieces now becoming an increasing part of our travel retail business.
“The brand is now well established with many major operators around the world and we are eager to invest further in the brand with the right travel retail partners.”
The Frédérique Constant brand will be on display at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition (Stand number: Riviera Village RG13).
