BAA appoints Nick Adderley to key marketing post – 14/07/08

UK. BAA has announced the appointment of Nick Adderley as its Commercial Marketing Director. He will be responsible for all aspects of the airport operator’s advertising, relationship marketing, promotions, product innovation, airline marketing and service brands.

The newly created role will see Adderley assuming responsibility for London Heathrow’s marketing as well as overseeing the marketing at BAA’s six other UK airports: Gatwick, Stansted, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Southampton.

Adderley brings a wealth of brand, marketing and e-commerce experience to BAA following senior management and consultancy roles at Sainsbury, B&Q, Superdrug and Lovefilm, said BAA.

BAA Commercial Director Duncan Garrood said: “We are delighted to welcome Nick Adderley to BAA and are certain that the expertise he will contribute will enable us to achieve our goal of continually improving the travelling experience for all our passengers.”
