Maui Jim’s 36-unit tower display |
US. Maui Jim Sunglasses is expanding its travel retail network with new listings in cruise destinations in Alaska, Mexico and Florida.
The Americas-based premium sunglasses manufacturer has secured a full-bay display area with eye-catching branding at Orlando Sanford Airport with Aldeasa.
Maui Jim will also have a significant presence at the port town of Juneau, Alaska with Tairo International, which caters largely to luxury cruise liners in the summer months. The shop will feature a Maui Jim 18-unit spinner counter-top display and a mixed assortment of styles. These include the Stingray and Palms, selected styles from the practical MJ Sport series and some of the latest frames in the collection such as the edgy Canoes and the Bayfront large aviators.

Loren International has also ordered products from Maui Jim for the summer season. The retailer sought out the Maui Jim team at the TFWA World Exhibition in October 2008 because US-originating cruise passengers arriving in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico had been asking so often for the sunglasses brand, Maui Jim said. A 36-unit tower display has been dispatched with a wide array of Maui Jim frames, including the latest styles in each collection.
Maui Jim lenses offer protection from the sun’s rays including reflections off water with its PolarisedPlus2 multi-layered lens technology.
Maui Jim is exhibiting at the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas (Stand number: 2412).
