INTERNATIONAL. International fashion brand Folli Follie has designed an exclusive limited-edition watch for Cathay Pacific Airways’ Beyond Duty Free inflight programme for the fourth quarter of this year.
Only eight pieces of the Swiss-made Diamond Purity watch are available worldwide, and they can be seen at the TFWA World Exhibition next month (Stand number: Ambassadeurs Village V2).
Italian watch artist Gianna Bressan was inspired by the concept of cosmic creation with the primary elements of harmony, beauty, light and ingenuity.
The gold watch features 190 diamonds and has a rare natural white sapphire on the crown, cut in tronqué style to refract light with enhanced brightness.
The diamond pave decorated mechanism is designed in an oblong shape, based on the principles of minimalism, in single point linkage with the case.
The setting of diamonds has been done manually, taking more than 80 hours per timepiece. A white alligator strap features a gold double deployment safety buckle.
International accessories brand Folli Follie was founded by Dimitris and Kaiti Koutsolioutsos in 1982.
