James Kfouri takes on big new responsibilities to grow the company’s business |
AUSTRALIA. Paton’s has promoted James Kfouri to Chief Operating Officer.
Formerly General Manager Sales & Marketing, the widely respected Kfouri takes overall control of all the company’s business leadership functions, marketing, sales and distribution of the Paton’s range of confectionery.
His responsibilities will include the strategic expansion of the company in domestic and international markets and the review and development of the product portfolio. This follows the opening of the Paton’s Asia office in Singapore in June 2010.
On travel retail sales Kfouri will be assisted by Adam Fereday, Business Manager Australia & Pacific Islands; Nick Diacon, Business Manager Southeast Asia; Jeremy Tan, Business Manager North Asia; and Grant Fereday, Business Manager Americas and Europe.
As reported on 6 May, the company was acquired by leading book retailer Dymocks in May. Paton’s produces chocolate, nut and sugar confectionery for the Australian domestic market and for 80 markets around the world.
