PERU. Travel retail solutions provider LanFlor has rolled out a smart sampling machine featuring Swiss chocolate brand Lindt at the recently concluded 2025 ASUTIL Conference in Lima.

The Degusta.pe machine combines complete branding customisation and interactive software, designed to enhance passenger engagement before dispensing free samples.
The interactive machine drew strong interest from attendees, who were treated to complimentary Lindt chocolate samples.
LanFlor Director Pascal Pawlowski-Hegermann said, “Degusta was originally designed for local markets, where users interact through a mobile app, but we’re excited to adapt it for travel retail. We aim for seamless interaction and an experience that lasts – one that creates a real connection between the sampled product and the traveller.
“Beyond awareness, Degusta can also gather valuable user data through real-time questionnaires, interactive games and direct integration into our clients’ CRM systems. This is a whole new way to engage audiences, opening up opportunities for landlords, operators and premium brands alike.”

Attendee response to the activation underscored Degusta.pe’s potential as an innovative travel retail marketing solution, enhancing brand presence and consumer engagement, LanFlor noted.
Lindt & Sprungli Sales & Trade Marketing Manager Latam Duty Free Deborah Navarro said, “For Lindt GTR Latam, it was the first time we did an activation using a machine and we were very satisfied with the results.
“It was interesting to see how curious the public was to interact with the machine and even better to see how happy they were to receive a gift from Lindt.” ✈
