EUROPE. To celebrate its 200th anniversary this year, luxury Champagne brand Perrier-Jouët has created a limited edition twin presentation box set, fittingly named the “˜Bi-Centenaire’.
Priced at £10,000, the Perrier-Jouët Bi-Centenaire pack contains two magnums of 1998 Vintage Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque.
Only 100 pieces have been made, with only two available in travel retail through Aldeasa-WDF’s specialist wine store, Wine Collection – Rare & Vintage, which is located within the main World Duty Free store in Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.
Perrier-Jouët commissioned celebrated artist Daniel Arsham to design and sign this piece of artwork. He drew his inspiration from the distinctive flowers drawn by Art Nouveau artist Emile Gallé for the brand back in 1902, and from the interlacing of the vines. Glimpses of the magnums are visible through the white sculptures, which can be displayed alone or together.

The idea behind the sculpted twin packaging is that one magnum may be enjoyed now by the present owner, while the other can be passed on to the next generation. The pack also includes a journal, so the original owner can leave a message for the recipient to compare their experience of tasting this Champagne with the observations left for them, Perrier-Jouët explained.
